Hey sweetie. I suggest an online blog like Xanga. There you can join ana/mia blogrings and get support from other girls. Some pro-ana/mia sites are www.proanamia.com and www.pro-ana-nation.com . Xanga really has some great support, though. If you are trying to recover try www.eatingdisordersanonymous.org Good luck either way! Hugs*

It's a really tricky line that depends on every situation. For one, it's good sometimes that they are there. SOME girls are there for each other no matter what. Through purging, or through recovery. It offers a way for people to talk about something they don't have the courage to talk to others about. Which may lead to it being worse because of the secrecy and more seclusion, or a good thing because they have someone to talk to. Also, not every pro ana site causes other, makes others want to become like this. Its' up to the people viewing the sites to decided whether they think its a trend or not. Its stupid that it would be considered as such, and a huge negative is that so many times it starts off as a "trend" and ends up being full blown anorexia. The tips thing is kinda stupid. I have to admit Ive asked and given myself. If it's real, you don't need :inspiration: tricky.

Eat in front of a person rather than a screen. It cuts down on mindless eating and making you more accountable for each chunk.

Well I think there's nothing wrong with thinspo or thinspiration to inspire people in healthy dieting, but I think that when it gets to the point that people are inspring or trying to persaude people to be drastically underweight and starve themselves its just wrong.
