Good, maybe they'll figure it out!

If we split up enough families, may be the illegals will figure out what breaking the law means and get out of our nation.

If you were picked up for any other violation of our laws, ie, drunk driving, identity theft, robbery, or anything else, we wouldn't even listen to this whining.

You break the law, you pay the price.

By the way, being born here does not make one a citizen..that is an internet deception and has been told enough that people are actually believing and justifying the lie....

To Richard,

This wonderful nation belongs to the rednecks, the John Wayne's, the George Washington's and not to you and others who have nothing....money protects us "rednecks" and your lack of money makes you envious to the point of being "ugly".

These stories do NOT bring a tear to my eye nor a lump to my throat. I love children as much as the next person, but I do not believe in using ones children to try to skirt the law and obtain special considerations for oneself. This is what illegal immigrant parents do - they use their children. They know full well what the risks are, but they go ahead and do it, anyways. Then, they all scream and cry "Unfair!" when they get caught. I do NOT feel any sympathy because I know for a fact that these people are given the option of taking their children with them when they are deported - so if they find their families split apart, they should only blame themselves. Personally, I do not consider those children US citizens. I have heard that this law is possibly going to be corrected and the sooner, the better! This "anchor baby" law only acts as another enticement to illegal immigrants. The only way a child born in the USA should have automatic citizenship is if at least one of the parents has US citizenship. Otherwise, the child should only have the citizenship of its parents.

Sorry, but why is that my problem? If a raid breaks up a family they are doing to to themselves! They shouldn't even be here. They should all be back in their home country, not breaking the law. If they were not breaking the law they wouldn't have to worry about being deported.

This includes the anchor babies. While I feel sorry that an innocent child is taken from the parents that doesn't give the parents the right to be here because of the child. They don't get auto citizenship.

I think that if the parents are illegal and are deported, the children must go with the parents even though they are citizens. The kids are only citizens because the parents did something ILLEGAL.

Is this a serious question??????????????
This 'wonderful nation' actually should belong to the Natives, Mexicans being some of them. So if you want to talk 'history' out, you're not the only one that reads and knows. Gosh, are you part of the KKK or something? Or do you need to go to Oz to get a heart??

And for Daisy, how ignorant can you get??? First of all, how would a child help? They can't sponsor them until they are 21 and judges with the same amount of heart that you have don't care. I would say I hope something like that happens to you, but I don't, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. You act like if you know every illegal person that has come here, and guess what? You don't. So it's none of your business to act like you do.

Wow, seriously, how cold can you people get?? With neighbors like these, I'd rather stay where I'm from, just like many people. However, like I've said millions of times, they don't come here to listen to gringos talk crap, they come to work. The U.S. would be nothing without all of these people, I just hope one day you guys learn.

And yeah sure...ALL illegals are here trying to rape Americans...whatever...

In the eyes of the law, you are wrong when you state that being born here does not make you a citizen. This is from the U.S. government website - search on citizenship and you will find:

_________________________________________

The Supreme Court, through case law, has created a guideline for U.S. citizenship. The following outlines the rulings of the Court:

The 14th Amendment completely controls the status of U.S. citizenship and prevents the involuntary cancellation of citizenship.
All persons born in the United States are citizens of the United States.
This applies to children born to legal and illegal residents.
This does not apply to children of foreign citizens employed in any diplomatic or official capacity.
Congress has the power to define acts of expatriation (i.e., loss of citizenship).
A person must voluntarily relinquish U.S. citizenship.
It is constitutional to presume it to have been a voluntary act until and unless proved otherwise by the actor.
Congress may revoke citizenship involuntarily if it has been obtained unlawfully.
Congress has the power to define citizenship outside birth in the U.S.
Congress can set different citizenship requirements for children born to American mothers versus American fathers.
Congress can require that U.S. citizenship must be established by a certain age for it to be recognized.

It is a shame for families to be split up but I don't know what illegal raids you are referring to. If you are talking about raids on illegals then I would think that it is the illegals themselves that are responsible for the breakup of their families. I would never have put my family in the position of crossing into another country illegally and place them in the situation of being broken apart. I have sympathy for the situation but not the people. If I rob a bank, I will be a criminal; I doubt if anybody would have any sympathy for my family being broken up by me committing a crime. This is the thing that people just do not understand; IT IS ILLEGAL TO ENTER THE US WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE ENTRANCE LAWS. IT IS A CRIME AND THE PEOPLE THAT DO IT FOR WHATEVER REASONS ARE CRIMINALS NOT POOR DOWNTRODDEN FAMILIES.

First, I doubt the raids are illegal. If the government suspects people in any given area are in the United States illegally, they are within their jurisdictional rights to raid the area and withdraw said illegals.

Second, I do agree that the rampant abuse of the Fourteenth Amendment should be stopped. There are far too many illegal immigrants here having babies which will then be supported by those of us who were born here, live here and contribute to society as a whole.

Third, it's not an internet misconception that people born here are automatically citizens. It's the truth.

But none of the politicians will step up and play ball. They're too chicken.

The raids are not splitting up families. The illegals are doing that to themselves. Why would they take their children when they plan to come right back? It's easier to travel without children. And their jobs are often held for them. Not to mention that they love to pose and cry for the news cameras after a raid. That's a very convenient way to try to make us look cruel, and they'll use any tactic they can find to continue abusing the tax payers of this country. I'm not falling for it. It's just more propaganda to promote unchecked illegal immigration for 'humanitarian' purposes. When do they become responsible for their own actions? They are using their own children. That is pathetic.

They know the consequences of breaking the law, yet they do it anyway...putting their children in the position as well. Only the children do not have a choice.

Some people are so clueless that they think by "illegal' you are reffering to the raid, when clearly you are referring to the criminals here illegally.

We have enought of them. Its got to stop.
