I like my bestfriends ex-girlfriend?
alright here is what happened so far, i went out w/ this girl for a little bit in the 7th grade but i wasnt ready for a relationship, then this past 3 yrs weve become pretty good friends, we make fun of each other just for fun and have a good time when were together, and i would have already asked her out but she just broke up with my best friend last sunday and they had been goin out for little under 7 months. now my bestfriend is goin to ask this other girl out this week and he know that she likes him and i think thats part of the reason why he broke up with her, im woundering how long i should wait before i ask her, how i should tell him, and how i ask her. i need help this situation is all messed up.

Talk to your best friend first, if he objects, then you need to let it go especially if your friendship to him is more valuable to you..

Give it some time. She just went through a breakup, she doesn't need another "boyfriend" right away. Things might not work out the way your best friend planned. He may decide the grass isn't greener on the other side and want to "make up" with the "ex". That would make things pretty awkward for everybody, wouldn't it?
The gal needs a good friend. Why don't you just maintain the status-quo for a month or two and re-evaluate? If you start dating this girl, don't plan on double-dating or hanging out with your best friend and his ex/your new girl friend.

Well, go to your friend and tell him that you want to ask out his ex so he won't feel that you went behind his back. I wouldn't worry about that end. But consider what his ex is feeling. If she was the one to dump him, then she probably doesn't like him and you can ask her out. However, once you said that she broke up with him, and then you said he broke up with her. Which is it? If he dumped her, she must be devastated after a 7 month relationship breaks. Until you know she's over him, don't ask and recieve the rejection.

hey OMG that sounds like a situation the thing is if your best friend broke up with this girl then you shouldn't worry about breaking the news to him because if he still liked her he would still be going out with her. And as for this girl does she act as though she is interested in you? and any free time she gets does she want to spend it with you? because if she does then i think it would be okay to ask her out !!!!!!!!! and as for breaking the news to your bff just tell him what you told me see if you can still hang out without him being mad at you because some girl isn't worth losing your best freind over!!

Just be open with him and say, Dude! Since you dumped "Delicia" you won't mind me asking her out right? With him out of the picture she might be broken up about it or not. Depends on how much she liked him. Just be your usual self around her and kinda get a feel for where she stands with the breakup. She might just jump right into your arms.

deff ask him first.. since he likes someone else now, and you think its part of the reason that they broke up then just ask because obviously he's moved on and shouldn't care anymore.. and you should prolly wait at least a week.. when he asks the other girl out then tell him that you like her and see what happens

well with asking your friend you shouldnt worry much, it seems like he doesnt care about his ex much. just wait some time probably 3-4 days, after all she just broke up with her boyfriend. try talking to her and telling her how you feel about her. good luck :)

u will never know til u ask her.. i know a few people who are now married to what used to be their best friends girl.... however their best friend is no longer their friend... gotta choose whether u like her enough to jeopardize your friendship. this is a tuff one good luck

well if your bf wasnt in love with her or anything then it should be ok. just talk to her and see how she feels,tell her how you feel,then see what happens from there. if you really like each other,then tell your friend.
