I met this girl and she was really fun to be around and we got along really well. When I stopped for gas on the way home I started thinking about her and I realized that I might have been coming on too strong. How or what do I do to correct this? I will see this girl a lot since she goes to my church and to the college that I am transferring to. Do you think that playing it safe from now on will even out everything?

Coming on too strong is better than not coming on enough? What bullshit.
You take it slow or she will lose interest faster than your first premature ejaculation.

Define coming on too strong..
If she made faces at you, or laughed nervously and moved away, or at any time it felt awkward.. then it's too strong.
If she was into you, and had good chemistry, and conversation, and you didn't bring up babies and getting married, then it's probably safe to continue being who you are.
If you went back to being safe and lukewarm, she might think you lost interest and are giving her a subtle hint to back off.

if you got along really well then taht probably means that she liked you just the way you are.
if you really believed that you came on too strong, ask her about it. be quite truthful. say something like, "I was thinking, on my way home yesterday, that I may have come on too strongly with you the other day. what are your feelings on this?" if she says she didn't think so, then great! if she says otherwise, simply apologize, forgive and forget.

You didn't give any specifics when it comes to your conversation with her. You may be thinking about thistoo much. find something else to dowith your time like a hobby, interest or other girls - you just met her.
