What can I use in my rock tumbler to put a good shine on pewter?

I've tried a few things (both wet and dry) but I can't get a shine on my pewter pieces.

Pewter is a soft metal and you'll ruing it trying to polish it that way. It isn't meant to be shiny like silver or gold but you could use a silver polish very very lightly on it. Good Luck and God Bless

might have to ask your local jeweler on this one. jewelers rouge maybe...
