My driver's license will be 3 days expired on the day of my (domestic) flight and I have also lost my birth certificate and have not had a social security card for years. I'm just worried I might have a hard time getting a boarding pass if someone notices my license is expired.

Check with your state about getting a new license. Many states simply require you to go to the DMV with your old license and will issue you a new one without needing to provide a birth certificate or ss card.

I've had to renew my license twice and I've never had to take anything but the old license with me to get my new one. Just hand it over, sign my name and take a new picture. A week later the new one arrives in the mail, however, I get a paper version to use in the mean time. I live in Washington.

If you can't get a new one before you leave, take the expired one and another current form of picture ID if you have it, such as an employee badge, school ID etc.

Yeh, I doubt they'll need you to drive. A government-issued ID card, such as a state driver license, establishes your identity. If it is recently expired, it should not be a problem. If it's 5 years or more expired, you might want to work on that.

I listen that the TSA has at the moment replaced it truly is guidelines. you'll now no longer manage to fly in case you refuse to exhibit identity and not using a reason. besides the undeniable fact that, you are able to fly on family members flights once you've lost or forgot your identity - yet you are able to flow through truly some more suitable protection and questioning.

You still will be able to fly, however you will get the extra screening through security. Bring along anything else you can, library card, credit card etc. If in doubt call your specific airline for the exact rules, as they do vary from airline to airline.
