* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
* 2 pounds tilapia fillets

1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
3. Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the fish.

lasagna
* 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
* 3/4 pound lean ground beef
* 1/2 cup minced onion
* 2 cloves garlic, crushed
* 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
* 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
* 2 (6.5 ounce) cans canned tomato sauce
* 1/2 cup water
* 2 tablespoons white sugar
* 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
* 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
* 1 tablespoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
* 12 lasagna noodles
* 16 ounces ricotta cheese
* 1 egg
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced
* 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. In a Dutch oven, cook sausage, ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until well browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Season with sugar, basil, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons parsley. Simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
4. To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with a third of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.

If you are someone who is always on the go but does not wish to whip up anything heavy, un-nutritious, and just wants something quick, that tastes good and does not add extra calories to your body, then I would strongly suggest investing in a WOK.

You would be amazed how quickly, and cheaply you could be enjoying a great meal each time.

The best part? You would be eating healthy, great tasting meals and you would have a lot of fun doing it too. All it takes is one simple WOK to do just that. There are Millions of recipes on the net but you have to take the first step and go out and buy a WOK if you don't already own one.

Another added plus? It requires very little cleaning. Because you are just supposed to rinse it with water, towel dry it and put it away for your next meal. The more you use it the better tasting your food become from this natural "seasoning" of your wok.

Have fun and enjoy it. I hightly reccommend it!
PS: If you want some really great recipes, write to me and I will be happy to share my own specialities but you really can be so creative on your own if you put your mind to it.

Sweetie,you can make many things that are quick and easy.I would suggest some pasta.This generally picks up any flavor you add to it.Now,as to what you add to it,that depends on what you have handy in your pantry and fridge.How about some broccoli and cheese pasta.If your a meat eater you could eat your choice of meat to it also.You could also go with some leftovers that you have handy in the fridge,any vegetables on hand?Throw those together in the pan with some extra virgin olive oil,garlic,and herbs.Maybe even a squeeze of lemon juice.Toss together to heat through,add some grated parmesan cheese.Serve with some bread and butter or garlic bread.Have canned tomatoes?Throw those in a pot,again going with leftovers add some left overs vegetables?Peppers,onions,anything.Toss in the pasta sprinkle with some mozzarella cheese and broil until cheese melts.Soup?Add some vegetable stock or tomato juice,left over veggies.Canned tomatoes,peppers,onions,greenbeans,peas,corn etc.Maybe even some pataoes.Anyway,mix it all together toss in some pasta boil until pasta is tender.Veggie noodle soup!Use up leftovers,it is probably your quickest way to go.Yum,now i am hungry.Have a good evening hun,good luck!!

You could toss some angel hair pasta with breaded chicken (even frozen chicken will do). Add some olive oil or red sauce, and you're done.

You could make a special "breakfast dinner" with french toast, eggs, and breakfast sausage.

You could make chili. It takes a little prep work, but you can really just let it sit after that.

You could make a big dinner salad with chicken, boiled eggs, bacon bits, lettuce, tomato, cheese, olives...whatever you'd like.

Good luck!

This is from a friend of mine who lives every summer in a tiny apartment with only a microwave for cooking. It's really good and very versatile. It's great to use pasta, vegetables, and meat from previous meals. You have to figure out the proportions and quantity depending on how many you are feeding and what you have on hand.

Pasta (He uses spaghetti, broken into about 3-in. pieces. I like to use tri-color rotini)
Cooked mixed vegetables (Any frozen variety that you like. Of course fresh would be great too)
Cooked chicken cut into small pieces (Sometimes he uses leftovers from a whole deli roasted chicken. I usually defrost and cut up a couple frozen chicken breasts and saute)Canned White Albacore Tuna (Use good chunk tuna. You could use any leftover salmon or fish too)
Olive oil
Generous pinch of sugar (I know it sounds weird but I made this before I knew he used sugar and it didn't taste right at all)
Seasonings to taste (salt, pepper, and whatever else you like)
Fresh spinach (Obviously this could be made without the spinach, but it really adds great taste, color, and nutrition)

In a microwave safe bowl, combine cooked pasta, cooked mixed vegetables, chicken, and tuna (We think it tastes best with chicken and tuna. Obviously, it could be made with just one or the other or any other protein of choice. Sometimes we add beans too.) Add sugar and seasonings. Pour in olive oil to moisten. Use a lot. It's good for you. Stir. Tear or cut with kitchen shears a generous amount of fresh spinach leaves (when they cook, they wilt and diminish, so use more than you think you need.) Put spinach on top of mixture in bowl, cover and microwave for about 3 minutes. Stir spinach into pasta and serve.

Spaghetti. Boil the noodles, brown the meat, add sauce (I prefer Ragu Chunky Mushroom), and serve salad that is already cut up in the bag. You can also toast some French bread to go with it. This is one of my families favorites. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Grill some chicken breast...put some kind of sauce on it to make it tastey then cut up som fresh romain lettuce and put the chicken on top of that...you would already have your dressing (the chicken sauce) but you can put your own...
