I have just bought a new computer which came with Windows XP Starter Edition on it. However, if I try to run more than 3 programs at the same time, it gives me a warning saying that the computer can not run more than 3 programs at the same time. What can I do to be able to run more programs?

This also happens in the Internet Explorer. If I try to open more than 3 website screens it gives me the same message.

Please, help!

Thanks!

Uh . . . I never heard of XP starter but I have heard of Vista Basic Vista, Home Premium or XP home or pro. So which is it dude?

It depends on what the 3 programs you're trying to run as well. Some programs are hogs and will cause interefence with other programs.
