I have about 100 JPG downloaded Images on my Desktop. How do I store them somwhere but still delete them...?

From my desktop so I save Disk Space. I have tried saving the pictures on Flikr and then moving all the Images into Trash, but then the picture in Flikr just turns into a "question mark"! Please help!

send them to yourself on a web based email account.
