I'm 16, male. I like writing, reading, but I'm rather withdrawn. I need someone to be there for me, physically and especially emotionally. Where can I find a girl like that?

I doubt you'll meet your RIGHT girl now - but will get girlfriends on and off from time.
The right person comes along, when you're are *not* looking for them.
Just talk to girls that share interests with you, and when the time comes, she might ask you out or the other way around..

Well, your 16 are there any girls at school that you are interested in? Try to look for someone that is not the snobby popular one but the one that looks the more WHOLE, confident but not flashy confident, and most balanced. Church is not the answer lol. The wrong people go to the club on Friday to church on Sunday. I would say school would be good for finding a girl. That way ya'll have something in common. If not try going out with friends to the movies and strike up a conversation there. Or at the mall. Good luck, hope you find your gal.

Join a dance class or art class. You'll find that these girls have a nice balance of spirituality and physical tendencies.
Hip hop class would help you gain confidence FAST, but jazz or modern dance would have the girls you want. Any art class is good. Photography or whatever. Do concurrent enrollment at a local community college if you want to attend a free class. Just don't get an F and you're good.
Talk to girls in book stores also. They tend to be friendlier and more receptive to conversation.

Stop trying too hard. You can meet the girl of your dreams anywhere. It could be in the street, at the shops or in a club. You may meet her on holiday. The thing to remember is to be yourself DONT try to be someone your not just to impress. If you do when she finds out (and she will) she will feel she cant trust you. If and when a girl falls for you you will want it to be you she falls for not the person you have been pretending to be.....,.,.GOOD LUCK*******

It sounds to me like your asking alot and willing to give little. What you ask for in order to get it your going to have to be more willing to give of yourself. If your waiting for a girl like that to just pop up with no effort on your behalf sit down it's going to be a long wait.

Try talking to people. If you like reading try the library, there are plenty of girls like that in the libraries.
