He left some stuff here including very overdue movies and library books. He has no phone and I have no way of contacting him. I still love him. I want to try to get him back or at least get closure.

Well if he just disappeared without even talking to you about it, then I think that shows what his true feelings were.

look girlfriend, if you have no way of connecting with him, and he just left you for no obvious reason. he is either a) not worth it or b) he need to be alone or c)has problems. theres not much you can do at this point. no matter how strong your feelings are you must wait and see if he has feelings in return. you can never have a good relationship if you are the only one who wants a relationship. its best if you wait for a bit and see how things go, if he tries to contact you and let you know whats up, you will be 100% sure if hes the one for you.

If he refuses to allow you to contact him, closure is going to be difficult. Some people, male and female, can't handle the stress of breaking up and so try to avoid the stress altogether. Not the most mature response, but a frequent one. It would probably be best to let go of this guy and heal yourself.

Forget him. Forget closure - that's an excuse to beg him to come back. He's an immature jerk. He wasn't smart enough to recognize you for the smart, beautiful person that you are. You deserve better.
Return the movies and the library books but don't pay the fines (unless they are in your name)

You will probably hear from him again but by that time you will have moved on and not care about his excuses.
The 1st month is the hardest when your heart is broken. Delve into doing things that make you feel good and the sorrow will pass.

Sit at your computer and email (If he has an address) if not, type a letter to him saying all that you want to say in closing the relationship. Then put it in a sealed envelope and hold it until you get a location for him.
