chicken or beef?

I would probabaly go with chicken over beef just because of the fat factor in beef. Unless you buy the extremely lean beef you will be getting a lot of bad fats. The amount of protein in each is relativily the same if you are comparing equal portions of both. Besides chick and beef you should really try and throw some fish into the equation. It provides the same amount of protien but its a nice change in food intake.

Meat does not build muscle. Exercise builds muscle, protein from any source, meat or otherwise, speeds the recovery and repair of the muscle tissues which you stretch and damage every time you exercise. Through damaging and repairing muscles quickly, you build muscle and strength.

All of these, extra lean ground beef, chicken breast all white meat, tuna, buy a good whey protein it helps to build lean muscel.
