I get allergies every spring and usually go see my doctor, and every year he prescribes the same medication and it works quite well. Since I know what kind of meds I need can I just buy it online and not have to go see my doc, cause I dont want to pay for the office visit.

The federal govt has approved buying up to a 90 days supply of meds online. Heck, even state governments like Minnesota order their meds from Canada. I have used http://www.xlpharmacy-rx.com for years with great results. The send a prescription with your order. The online medical consultation is free.

You will need a prescription regardless where you purchase it from. However, since you have established a relationship with your physician why don't you try calling them and asking if they can call in your normal allergy medications for this time of the year as you are having the same problems as always. They may just do it and it will save you the office visit. Some physicians will do this and some will not, but it would be worth a try. If they won't then ask the doctor if he/she will give you a discount since it is for the same thing you always come in for this time of the year. You would be surprised that physicians will negotiate on their prices, but you have to ask. Hope you are feeling better soon. By the way, have you spoken with your pharmacist about any new over the counter products. as they may have something you could try that just may work.

This whole scam of getting online drugs without a prescription. . it is just that. . . get online and see if what I am about to tell you isn't correct.
Alot of places that advertise this generally have a Dr on their end that will authorize or "write" you a prescription which in my opinion is out and out malpractice as this Dr on that end doesn't know if infact you really need this drug or not.
In the end, they will tack on a fee for this service which raises the cost of those "cheap" prescription drugs thereby making it just as expensive as if you had seen your regular Dr and gotten his script.
Not to mention the shipping and handling.
Then there is the Canadian online or mail prescription refills.
Your regular Dr writes the script and you mail it off to Canadian Pharmacies/Drug Outlets etc, who has a Canadian Dr on that end rewriting the script as US scripts aren't good in another country.
Now comes the money conversion from American money to Canadian money and the exchange rate isn't always the same and once it is converted to Canadian money it could actually end up costing you the same as just buying them the old fashioned way and this too usually has shipping and handling charges.
Online prescription fills do the same thing as online dog supply places. . . you get a script from your Dr with his DEA number on it and mail it/fax it whatever to the online Dog Supply Co. filling the script but as most all the vets I ever tried to get scripts from, they refused as they didn't want to give out their DEA # to people they didn't do business with on a regular basis.
Talk to your Dr and see if you can get a generic prescription refill.
Most of the times a Dr has to see you before he gives you another refill is because sometimes blood tests have to be run to determine if the liver is being affected by the medication. . . it REALLY is in your best interest to see your Dr when starting your med over again each season.

Since your prescription is the same every year, why don't you try calling your doctor and getting a prescription. I don't think you'd want it any other way than thru a doctor--just look at the shady people you'd have to get your drugs from and then also you'd have to worry if they were the same strength as you take and the same purity too.
