Okay, so this guy and I have been emailing back and forth and one day he sent me an email telling me how amazing he thought I was and that he'd couldn't stop thinking about me and then he asked me out. I had alot of other stuff going on at the time, my grandfather had just died and I was helping with funeral arrangements and I was making a commitment to God by getting Baptised. I didn't really think it through and I emailed him back saying we should stay friends.
But after everything was done and over with, I realized that I really liked him and my grandfather passing away kinda taught me that life is too short not to be with the ones you love. Should I email him and tell him how I feel? Or do I need to play a little hard to get? I'm kind of know for being forward and people are always telling me to cool my jets and let myself be pursued by the guy, but he's kind of sensitive and I'm worried he'll give up if I don't say something.

Alright. If I were in that guys position and you told me that you didn't feel the same way, I'd move on. That's just what most guys do, we move on. So if this wasn't too long ago, then tell him how feel. It's an opportunity that shouldn't be passed. Like you said, life's too short. If you don't tell him, you will never know what could have happened. Trust me later on it will really get to you. So share your feelings.

dont wait if he already asked u out then email him back saying that u made a big mistake and u really do love him. srry :( bout ur grand father. and ur grandfather was right life is too short to be waiting or not being with the special someone u truly love. dont listen to those people who r saying 4 u 2 cool ur jets u do wat u want they cant run ur life only u make the decisions for urself. if he is sensative then he might take wat u said seriously and ask someone else out and 4get ever talking to u and u dont want that trust me u DONT. so go after him dont let him slip away!!!!! good luck!!!!!!

While it may be true that he will give up, I don't think you have
given a message that you want to be in solitary confinement, so why not send a little email out. Telling him you should stay friends, to me, is a partial rejection.

Okay what i am thinking is. Why is this over e-mail? I mean if it is an internet relationship...then okay. but if you see him then i think it is kinda chicken-ish to ask someone out over internet. but anyways..personaly i think you should tell him how you feel. he may feel the same way. the best thing you can do in any relationship. is talk. =]] good luck.
