potency of marijuana for brownies?

Is the potency of marijauna a major factor when making marijauna brownies for cronic pain??

My father in law is Paralyzed from the neak down and has never done illegal drugs but all the drugs they give him only makes him sick and after time he only becomes amuned and needs more ..weve researched the pain relief from pot but we dont wanna get him high..

Thanks mandy..we did make butter , and we followed our friends recipe to the t but it didnt seem strong enough..we could feel the effects of the marijuana brownies ..but my father in law couldnt feel any pain relief..

He could try Marinol, which is synthetic THC in pill form. It works very well for me for nausea and to potentiate my pain meds. Also, something to think about, if you have to make pot brownies, you have to make ''pot butter" out of them, you can't just put it in the brownie mix, because eating pot has no effect... something about the fat in the butter or something makes it work.

I would think so, I'm not sure that is the way to go when having chronic pain though. Why brownies, because you don't want the smoke, or just for a different way? It would be expensive I think to make a bunch of brownies, I don't think an eighth would be enough.

I don't think that Marijuana in itself would be much help in pain relief. It does help to stem off nausea and vomiting that comes along with many cancer treatments. If taken along with a pain reliever, it becomes a helper much the same way that caffeine does in some over-the-counter meds.

not really , it is nice to have a high thc level making a better space cake as i call them. smoking is still the best way, maybe try a water pipe or bong.
