In the uk a the roll of "Facilities Manager" is wide and varied and includes health & safety, premises security, cleaning, canteens, general maintainance-all known as Soft Services, then there are Hard Services would include space utilization, mechanical and electrical functions,and re-development. What is the correct title for this in Canada please?

The title down here for them would be floor manager

It would vary with the kind of workplace, but Building Manager would be what you are calling facilities manager. Maintenance would be looking after the services such as electrical, plumbing, etc. There would also be building supervisor and maintenance supervisor, depending upon how big the company is.

There are several possibilities, including the ones mentioned by others here, but also try, "Director or Manager of Accommodation" or "Director or Manager of Corporate Services".

I work at a Vancouver tv station in the Human Resources department and the job you describe above sounds like a Building Manager position.
