Sorry ........... no pink or red ones. (This is for Army, I don't know other branches of the military's patches). Each level of service has it's own patch (chevron). Starting with private, a single Chevron, private first class, a Chevron with a rocker underneath (connecting). Then the army has 2 for E-4's, one is a specialist - which is a chevron w/a rocker, but filled in (solid color), the second is corporal which is 2 chevrons. Sargent (Sgt) is 3 chevron's, Staff Sargent (SSG) is 3 chevron's with a rocker, Sargent first class is 3 chevron with 2 rockers, First Sargent is 3 chevron's with 3 rockers. Then you have Sargent Major which is 3 chevrons w/ 4 rockers, Command Sargent Major has 3 chevron's w/5 rockers and the last is Master Sargent. His is 3 chevron's 5 rockers, with a star in the middle. I am not sure about the order after first Sargent, I could have some backwards, but the higher up, the more "stripes" on the upper arm

Are you talking about the Epapulets or the actual rank? Yes there is a difference. The Epapulets or shoulder boards are the actual black pieces that slide onto the tabs, the chevrons are the actual rank -- one chevron (upside down v) in the Army is a Pvt2 and so on.
If you are wanting the actual rank you can find it online but not in pink that I know of. You could always use fabric paint or something like that. The MC has red rank for Class A's.
E-8 in the Army is 3up 3 down, 1 Sgt is the same rank differnt job. (sometimes called Top). SGM has a diamond, CSM has a wreath Command CSM has a wreath and a star.
If you want a particular rank & make sure you have the proper one the Armywives/marinewives sites have listings.
Hope that helps.

Well I'm in the Air Force and we call the rank insignia on our arms Chevrons. I believe the Marines may have red chevrons but I dont think you're gonna find pink ones.

When you look at the ranks, in the army, marine corps and navy, the ^ looking stripe is a chevron, while the curved stripe on the bottom (top for the navy) is called a rocker. The air force also uses chevrons and rockers, but their's are very wavy looking. If you look at the Marine ranks (enlisted) for the dress blue blouse (jacket), the stripes and crossed rifles are gold on a scarlet background.

They are called chevrons and the Marine Corps has Gold on Red background (Blues) or Green on Red background (Alphas), I don't know of any place that you can buy them unless you live near a base then you can go to almost any dry cleaners/surplus store and get them.

Yes, they are called chevrons, like you you said. I have never seen them in pink or red colors. I'm sorry. Have you tried any Army Surplus Stores? You might search online for those.
