This is something you need to be asking your family doctor about.
This could be something quite benign that you have to live with or it could be a symptom of a serious condition. Let your doctor find out, okay?

You have not told us what you do for a living? If you still at school or college, or have a job that requires you to sit for a long time? If so I think the problem my be with you posture, the back needs to be moved around during the day as there are complex muscles and tendons in the spine.
The cracking sound is normally associated with the release of the tension that has build up in the spine.
If your back and joints are still giving you problems try using anti-inflammatory medication.

Diet can play a big factor in joint health. Cutting out sugar and sodas can help immensely. You re not to young to develope arthiritis as this can effect anyone at any age. A blood test would be most helpful in determing if you have a form of it. I was diagnosed with it when I was 12 years of age. Taking paracetamol all the time really isn't healthy for your liver if you are having to take very much of it every day.

That's really young age to have this kind of pins, mostly older age people complains about a lot and you're only 17. I think you should go to the bone specialist for check up.

maybe it's your mattress, i got a new one last year and if I sleep more than 6 hours at a time, my back starts aching while I lay there, it is a very firm mattress and the old one didn't do that.
