it certainly was not in my day

In my day as a Royal Navy cook, we did our best to cater for the various minorities. I had Kosher and Halal meat on hand when I knew I would be having a Muslim or Jew as part of the crew. I served mainly in minesweepers, so I was the sole cook and could run my branch as I wanted.

If, however, we were in the middle of a force 6 wind and the pans would not stay on the ranges, everyone got a bacon or sausage sandwich, myself included (I'm Jewish).

PC is not for the Armed Forces. It becomes a bit of an irrelevance if someone is trying to stick a bayonet in ones guts. Military training should reflect this. Everyone gets abuse in the Forces, irrespective of race and /or sexual orientation - it is part of the brutalisation process - a necessary process. Combat is brutal . So must be the warrior.

Most modern armies are not politically correct. SOme try harder than others but it's almost an impossibility for an effective army to be 100% PC.

An army is supposed to be rough and tough, very tough in fact, I have heard tales of punch ups between regiments like the marines and gurkhas in pubs ect not beacause they hate each other its all to do with regimental pride and bravado.
we need hard men that will kill the enemy not limp wristed PC boys from Tony's factory.
To be a good soldier you have to be able to hate in a controlled way
Just look at the first 20 minutes of Full Metal Jacket, thats the way the Army turns men into soldiers its always been that way and always will unless you just want a peace keeping force

I see no human device that's moved by making use of good judgment. Elected officers are elected in line with attractiveness. hence government isn't logical. church homes attempt human beings to have faith quite some nonsense. that's additionally emotional and not logical. Even technology as an entire has abandoned good judgment in prefer of government. Very seldom a scientist have the braveness of complicated the theories of what he grew to become into concept interior the college. a individual may be emotional and on an identical time logical. the alternative of emotional isn't logical. the alternative of emotional is apathy. thoughts is what make us care approximately issues. good judgment is in straight forward terms a harm to out of control thoughts. Apathy is human beings turning out to be below animals. Human turning out to be souless products,

I guess its not P.C. to train someone to go out and kill another human being is it, but unfortunately that's what we ask them to do, and as you know the training is carried out in your interests of staying alive, yes the training is hard and it tough, but going to war is never a pleasant pass time. For us British i think the sooner we close the boarders and raise the drawbridge the better, lets start taking care of our own, instead of trying to sort the rest of the worlds problem with an under funded army.

No, and why should they be. I recently heard political correctness referred to as "spastic gay-talk." A profoundly accurate description in my opinion.

I'm trying to work out whether Aziz is being ironic or actually thinks that the Army is run by pigs.

Depends, For example when we use a church as a point marker we are not allowed to call it a church but a place of worship.Politics and the Armed Forces never mix.

Definately not nor should it be, if soldiers can't cope with name calling then how the hell will they cope in a battle field.. Political correctness has done its best to destroy this country and what it used to be.
Total madness

probably not. being politically correct takes all the fun out of it.

Before you all lynch me for it I believe everyone should be equal in the eyes of the law. However I despise all this, can't say 'black coffee' or having to say 'happy holidays' in place of 'happy Christmas' crap that has been creeping in
