At Belmont Lake Park in Babylon, you could rent a boat. The lake is artificial but I think there's largemouth bass in there. Your best best however would be to call the State DEC at Belmont Park or check out the NYS DEC web site. They should be able to tell you. Also there is a place in Suffolk County on the south shore. I think it's Caleb Smith Park and there you could rent a fishing boat. You better call, however, to make sure.
