ive been on it for a week now and havent lost anything but a pound. i have followed the plan exactly and im very frustrated!! has anybody else experienced this problem. and if so did you eventually lose the weight?

Kat is correct in what she is saying--stick with it and before you know it--you will start losing. Are you exercising at all? If not--start--that will help also. Stick with it--I work with a doctor that swears by the south beach diet--he has researched it and says that it is better than Atkins. You are learning to recreate you eating habits!

The norm is on a low carb diet it will take two wks to start the losing process. That is how it is on any low carb. And you do know it is not a diet it is a change of eating habits for life if you go back to eating high carbs you will gain it all back and maybe more.
