You dont even have to boil them if you are going to stir fry them after - just run them under hot water. That will get rid of the ice.

If you are going to stir fry them there is no need to cook them they will cook in the stir fry but if you boil them be carefull not to boil them too long or they will get mushy

Don't boil them - your best bet is to just let them defrost for a while (an hour or so will be fine). Presumably they are already cooked? If they're pink, then they're already cooked, and just need heating up. Add them to your stir fry and just heat them through. If they're grey, then they need cooking, but do it gently until they go pink, no boiling! Or you'll end up with flavourless cardboard.

Don't boil them if you're going to stir fry them. Shrimp cook fast, as soon as they turn white, they're done.

Just until they turn pink and not a second longer. If you're going to cook with them afterwards then cook them for 1 minute. Don't forget to salt the water "like the sea".

Let the shrimp defreeze first (as slowly as possible), don't boil them (it makes them all chewy and horrible), just quickly stir fry them so that they are hot when you serve them!

If they are fresh they should be grey and therefore boil them till they turn pink. If they are already pink they have been cooked once already so just boil them to warm them and sanitise them from when you dropped them on the floor earlier.
