Hi!

The first shots are done in two courses - the first at about 8/9 weeks and the second at about 12 weeks. It cost £36 for the two courses when I got my cat 7 months ago.

Other things you will want to think about are flea and worm treatments, which vary in cost, but generally don't break the bank. Don't use store-bought treatments as they are often ineffective and it's better to be safe with new kittens. You can also get them microchipped straight away, for about £15.

The best thing you can do is get the number of your local vet from 118 118 (directory enquiries) and ask them their exact prices. They'll be happy to help you!

Overall, your first visit will probably cost around £50-70, and you'll need to make this visit within one week of getting your new kitties.

When he/she is 6 months old, you'll also need to get it neutered, which is very cheap, only about £20.

I hope this helps :-)

This depends on where you live I work in Burnley Lancs Uk and we charge 50 pounds for the course and apparently we are quite cheap. If you know a person with a pet get recommendations of vet surgeries and shop around. Check what you get for you money ie health exam, whats covered in the course (a responsible vet wouldn't vaccinate without giving a full health exam). Also check what aftercare you would get should you have any concerns (not that you should have probs but just in case)

When my cat had 5 kittens, we took them in for the best of care at a vet hospital. Including a full checkup, it was approximately
$15- $20 per kitten.

Shop around, do not be afraid to ring round and find out who's the cheapest, but it dose not stop at jabs, there's worming, flee treatment, some vets offer you a Kitten package, I got one and got a identity chip included for about £50.00 (am in Sussex).
Have fun with your Kitten!!

Depends on the vet and where you live, but I'd plan on $50-$75.
