First of all I would find a "eye specialist" Ophthalmologist that will examine your son,and explain in full, using simple terms to describe his diagnosis and any treatment plans he might have. I don't understand why so many years have gone by without any help, and proper schooling ?There are many, many programs that help with this sort of thing. You can start off with your state Dept of Health or Social Security office.Take care, good luck.
