It is absolutely fine. Rinse them in cool water first then boil. When you boil them any bacteria will be killed. Enjoy!!

Depends on how dirty your floor is. If it's got dust all over it, then I suggest washing the shrimp with water first. My house is a "no shoes" house, so there aren't any tracked in bacteria/germs. Usually I just wash said frozen item or even fresh iten and then toss it into the boiling pot. The heat usually kills any bacteria still clinging on. I've done it many times and I haven't had a problem yet...of course it does depend on a person's immunity level. I doubt anything will come of it, it should be oki doki. Enjoy your shrimp!

Yes Boiling kills bacteria very good because they can't stand the heat so aslong as you put it into boiling water that is actually boiling (not just hot) it will be okay to eat them

I would rinse them off first to make sure no excess 'dirt' is on them. Putting them into boiling water would kill any other germs. Should be safe. Most poeple are more scared then they really should be about germs/dirt/etc these days.

yes, just wash them off first, did you know that meat cutters have a 3 second rule, if they drop meat on the floor they have 3 seconds to retreive it wash it off and package it? so we all eat meat off the floor!

Just wash them then cook them. They will still be good to eat as long as you didn't have something really foul on your floor!
