I am thinking about buying my bestfriends son a powerwheel for his one year birthday now the moneys not the problem cause I spoil him, but is he too young for a little small power wheel truck that moves when he twist the handles (it doesnt have foot peddles like the usuall power wheel)and it moves slower than the average power wheels for one years olds and it says its for 12 months-36 months or do you all think its too dangerous for a one year old.

My daughter's both got a powerwheels car for their first birthday. Watch out for one thing though; be prepared to get ran over by this little boy...lol

My son got his first power wheel last summer when he turned 2. I think he was too little to really know how to use it but he still had fun sitting in it and riding around with his brothers. As long as an adult supervises at all times, I don't see a problem with an age appropriate gift.

power wheels can go quite fast. It's best to look at the recoommended age for the power wheel. Some are made for smaller kids while others are made for a little older ones. Search for power wheels and the website will come up where you can compare them and it will tell you what ages they are for etc. I believe they make one for 18 months to 3 yrs but I'm not sure.

My son had one at 4 months old. I don't see any thing wrong with it as long as there is an adult present . My son is now 2 and he loves his motorcycle .
Have fun and remember they don't stay little long!!

Go for it! If mom or dad do not feel that thier son is old enough then they can put it away for a later date. Be prepared to tell them that you feelings will not be hurt if they do not use it for a while. Good luck

With proper adult supervision I personally dont see a problem. It is within the age brackets and like stated above, with proper adult supervision it should be fine....
