Go ride in a car for a night and learn about the police you are complaining about. You will learn a lot. You will also learn that police officers are human beings just like you. they can also answer a lot of questions you may have about the way they conduct themselves and why they do what they do. If you haven't bothered to learn about what they are doing then you are just speaking from ignorance.

I've done two ride alongs. First was in VA when I lived there and it was pretty cool. That experience made me want to become a cop. Another ride along was here in MI. I'll admit I complain about cops but at the same time I have a lot of respect for most of them. The handling of 9/11 showed how brave and amazing the police force can be.
Most of my complaints aren't really based on the officers themselves but the system they are brought into and some of the bogus laws they have to enforce.
For me it is a love/hate relationship :p

some police companies will enable this, yet many won't. The varieties may well be a straightforward application type with a great style of identifiers, a returned floor verify authorization and a criminal accountability waiver. that's a great adventure, yet you ought to appreciate that police are out doing a job that they be attentive to is risky. Having you alongside is a distraction. it is likewise a no win for them. in case you're bored, they get a slap out of your memories approximately what they do or do no longer do and in case you're in any risk, they get slammed via their superiors. it is not something that maximum police relish having as a evaluate their shift. additionally, understand that they see the whole international in any different case than you do. Their coaching makes them see any difficulty in any different case. maximum will ask your self the way you will interpret what occurs in any given difficulty. He desires to end the shift with existence and profession in tact. in case you rather choose to try this, seem to be certain in the event that they have a electorate' academy, constable software or a reserve officer software. this form you are able to study what you would be doing and study to do it effectively. you will additionally extra useful understand what you spot. this isn't any longer a job for amateurs -- there is no take your youngster to artwork day for police. i'm no longer attempting to be rude, yet you ought to have some be attentive to-how what you're asking. police officers want the guy next to them to be certain what they are seeing and have the talents and kit to help what they are doing. the final element a great cop desires is somebody else to contemplate at the same time as doing the job.

Not many know what we go through or put up with in a day. People just watch COPS and think that is the way it is.

Most of the people who complain about the police here are normally those that were stoped or arrested and they are unhappy about it.
