Do you really have to believe all the weird magical stories in the Bible, even if you are educated?

Meanwhile all the simple souls who are ignorant of science and find it easy to believe the Bible, they can get saved?

Simple logic
Jesus taught in parables
Jesus is God
God teaches in parables
God inspired the writing of the Bible
The Bible is full of parables.

Make sure to seperate the Old Testiment (Jewish Bible) from the New Testiment (Christian Bible)

I assume that you are asking because of one of the answers in another question where someone responded by stating that. I was amazed when I read that as well. Interesting theory that person holds I guess.

Honestly, as I stated in my answer to that question, that is the mentality that ahs allowed to various religions of the world to maintain their power and control over the masses.

You believe what you want. No one is forcing you to. It's your choice. It's not really fair to say that everyone who believes in the bible is uneducated or ignorant. There are many well educated people, some scientists, that believe in the bible. So, again, it is up to you what you want to believe.

No, you don't, " HAVE TO" , believe anything, that's why god gave us a free will, but, Who ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life, who do you think gave man his mind, to create science, or anything else for that matter,gods ways are far beyond ours or our limited understanding, he spoke creation into existence, he can do anything , to us they might seem impossible feats, but for god nothing is impossible.
