christians do you think we put preachers on pedastels?

i respect and admire preachers but think some put them a little higher than they should they are people and make mistakes too of course they are forgiven when they ask and repent but so are we

I think you are right, and its something we should be aware of.
Preachers are our brothers and sisters in Christ and are subject to the same weaknesses as anyone.
Follow them AS they follow Christ.
They need alot of prayer from the congregation, don't forget to pray for them

Absolutely. In my parish, a (Catholic) priest was just found to have had a wife and children in another county. What many people don't realize is that clergymen and clergywomen are, above all, human beings with the same temptations as any other person.

That having been said, I believe the vast majority of preachers are good, honest people, and I admire them for having made the choice to try to spread God's word.

Only God should be high and lifted up a pastor is a Shepard and a servant just like the rest of the body of Christ. Pastors are mess angers of God but are not equal to God there is a difference.

Not meaning offence, but I think a lot of christians not only put them on pedestals, but put the spot light on them and make sure that their microphone is working.

I dont put anyone on a pedestal. My pastor is a wonderful leader and his sermons are awesome but he is a mere human...
