hi i need ur answer from a reliable source becoz i need to answer dis question in my biology report... also could you tell me when the deforestation rates were high in particular years for the amazon rainforest?

I lived in the Ecuador jungle for 12 years and it doesn't make any difference because it rains so much the plants win. U clear a road and if u don't constantly maintain it the jungle will take it back. This area is the head Waters of the Amazon basin. My headquarters was at 1000 ft above sea level and the river runs over 3000 miles to drop that 1000 ft.
