I recently upgraded to 2 GB of ram on my pc and added a new video card to get it ready for Vista ! I want to take full advantage of it ! My pc is less than a year old! My question is for people with Vista! What are your thoughts on Vista! Should I wait for the first service pack , because I have been hearing alot about the bugs? Is it not as bad as people say?

No. It is not as bad as people claimed... Go ahead and take full advantage of Vista... Just allow Microsoft to update the OS... Every company is working on Vista, such as your printer manufacturer, apple Itunes, , etc. Within the NEXT month or two you should no longer enounter problems with Vista... Please be informed that Vista is very new and it takes time for every software maker to update to Vista.

I have been beta testing Vista for about 6 months, before Vista was released to the general public yes, it did have alot of bugs. Since the release to the public Microsoft has cleaned it up very nicely and I have had not one issue with it.
A few apps wont run but thats not Vista's fault, its the vendor who hasnt put the correct drivers etc.. out yet.
Im running Vista Ultimate and its awesome...

Wait until the first service pack comes out. I too have tested vista for months and they have way too many bugs.

Vista is faster, easier, than XP. but that doesn't mean XP is not a great OS software.
If I feel comfortable with XP Pro why not wait till all the software companies are capable to Vista

I would personally wait another few months. Yes, it is very exciting(i cant wait to get it) but there are alot of bugs and you should wait for them to get cleared out. I wouldnt want to pay alot for Vista and then find out it has a bug!! that would BLOW.

Why do you need Vista?
There is no software to that takes advantage of Areo yet.

If you want it for 64 bit and can't wait, go to XP Pro 64 bit.
