Met this girl for dinner through a dating site. She has large self-esteem issues and do not want to hurt her anymore but there is nothing there but she thinks there is because I was nice to her and in her mind means that I really like her. She calls me sweetheart and wants to know how she should introduct me to her friends etc. I don't know what to do since she is fanstizing this relationship for something that it will never be.

Avoid dating sites that doesn't post pictures even then you still have no idea until you actual meet. She knows that she has self-esteem issues so you will not be the first guy to tell her thanks but no thanks. As for what she thinks or fantasizing what the relationship is you can not change that. It sounds like your problem is that you are a nice person but dude nice can't solve it. Just tell her No

The best thing for her is for you to tell her honestly (and gently!) that you don't feel the same way. It'll probably hurt her, but it's better for her to have a little hurt now than major pain later.

idk, best of luck with your problems,
i had bf and that happened to me, he like really liked me, and i didnt really feel anything towards him. I was scared to end our releationship, bc i didnt wanna hurt him, and we ended up dating for 8 months, the longest 8 months of my life, and when i finally broke up with him, i was so relieved and i felt like i had my life back (he used to come over to my house almost every single day, at least 4 times a week, even in the summer)

MORAL OF THE STORY:
break off the relationship, nicely, before things get out of hand

You know it she's already named your first born and dog.

Be honest - she'll be upset for now but thank you someday for being just that. Don't string her on or she's picking china patterns out Saturday.

Be honest with her in telling her what your feelings towards her are. That would be the kindest thing you could do for her.
