i went to church today, we go to a little country church of about 40-50 people on a good Sunday, but the younger couples went to a marriage retreat so almost half of the congregation was gone. We had a good sermon though, a guest preacher spoke and it was his first sunday morning service so he was really nervous he did a good job though!

It was a moving service??

I remember now Jesus told his followers to nail notes on crosses. But I had forgotten all about that.

I went to church as well myself and this sounds to
me a bit bizarre nailing a note to the cross
And it sounds very religious to me
Jesus did not like religion or religious people back in
those days
And those people back then worshiped pagen idols

We nail our sins to the cross at church too! It is a wonderful and powerful experience. So freeing!
It's just another way of giving "it"(our worries) to God and recognizing that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
How great is our God!

Yes and I enjoyed it very much. I like the idea of nailing a message to a cross what a message without being considered idolism. You dont idolize the cross but remeber hoe Christ died for us all. Interesting.

Yes I went to church and loved it, isn't it wonderful that we have a Savior Jesus that forgives our sins, I pray that you were encouraged by your service. God bless you and thank you for posting.
