Where do I put the 4/6 pin cable into my camera, the adapter jack?

Firewire is also known as IEEE 1394 and iLink. On most cameras, it will say DV port or iLink, so plug it into that port. Also, check to make sure that the port isn't being covered by a piece of protective rubber (I freaked out until I realized this was the problem :-). And finally, if nothing else works, double check to make sure your camera is a miniDV camera (not to be confused with miniDVD). If it isn't, you should probably return your cable, or you could return your camera and get a miniDV camera :-) Hope this helps!
