Do racist practices among police involve both white and minority officers?

The reason is because cops deal with people when those people are typically at their worst. Cops don’t attend the gradation of a black guy from college. Cops see people when they are committing crimes, or when they are drunk or on drugs. The problem is when you see people behaving badly, you tend to think badly of them... it is just human nature. Cops are constantly exposed to the most vile examples of human behavior. If they happen to work in a black neighborhood, then they can become racist towards those black people. The cop himself understands that not all black people are like that, but it just makes it easier to classify people when you are dealing with a high stress situation. It is a venting mechanism.

And yes both white and black cops can have racist views. They both do the same job, and they are both human.

Are you speaking from experience?
Because I certainly don't exhibit racist practices when I'm at work.
I do however get really annoyed when people from minority ethnic groups try to use their colour as a reason that they've been brought to bear by the Police or accuse an officer of being racist when the officer is just doing their job and trust me it does happen and it's happened to me.
My usual answer is along the lines of 'don't make an issue of your colour, I'm not, it's irrelevant to me'
As far as I'm concerned, a criminal is a criminal whatever their colour.

You are way to general, a few officers like a few bankers, like a few postmen, like a few factory workers are racist,

but the majority of police officers do thier duties property and have no bigotry what so ever.

Because people are people. Some are bigots, most are not. Sounds to me like you have a prejudice against all police officers to make a statement like that. Do you know every police officer or did you just make a blanket statement about a group of people. Your statements tell me you are close-minded. I do not like to talk to people who are close minded and prejudice. Good day to you.

The bigotry existed before they became an "officer of the law". I believe many of the corrupt police in this country, became officers just to throw power upon those they discriminate against. Sad, isn't it?

From what I observed black officers seem to use more excessive force on other blacks than white officers.

That from personal experience only.
