No, my church go and visit the prison all the time. And half of the men in jail aren't really that bad. Half get saved becuase they see were their life is headed if they don't change. They live good lives and start off right in jail.
Plus, the Lord puts a hand of protection over His people.

Personally, I was raised as a Christian and have read the King James Version several times--not to mention my mother is a religious fanatic. According to the New Testament-Jesus tells us to turn the other cheek when struck. I have beaten a few men that way---but it all depends on the situation. In the Old Testament, God directly intervened and that is why I consider Him the Ultimate Warrior. He would send skilled men to take care of business when necessary---not to mention that if you laid down with a man as you would lay down with a women, you deserved death. In a prison environment, I'd rather face God for killing a rapist because He will understand and forgive you for protecting your manhood. I am an ex-convict with my manhood in tact.

Jehovah's Witnesses managed to keep it when they went to jail from refusing to be drafted. Not just here, but also in the U.S.S.R. and many other countries that had, or still have, mandatory military drafts. In France, one goes to jail for four year, gets released, is redrafted, and if they refuse, go back to jail for four more years, than repeat.

Growing up, I had friends who went to prison. The draft stopped when when I turned 18, so I didn't have to deal with it.

It will become a problem when they have to restart the draft.

One need not leave their faith behind just because they are in jail.

I'd have to say that in most jails that sort of thing doesn't actually happen. I don't know, but i think he (or she as the case may be) should still follow the bible...
...if he was a devout Christian, he shouldn't be afraid of death...
though that is a bit extreme...
...even though i believe it was unintentional, i take a little offense to you implying that following the bible's principals is weak.

You cant be a Christian on the outside and a non Christian on the inside. Maybe Bubba wont think you are attractive if you act like the Christian you are. What I hear is, they don't like fakes in there.Pray and ask God for strength and protection.

You can choose whatever you want, but remember there will be consquences for all your choices.

This question is not so black and white--who knows how God may intervene to help you stick to your beliefs. And if He doesn't you'll get a mansion in heaven. And possibly someone else might see your faith and be converted. There is no one answer, but you MUST ALWAYS stick to your faith.

No, you still have to obey God's principals. He will help you to survive. And obeying God's principals may just prove to those in authority that it was a frame and he's a godly person.

No, it's always better to obey and trust God to protect you, rather than lean on your own abilities. If you're in God's hands He's more than powerful enough to protect you -- even in prison.

Who says being a Christian is being weak. That is a false assumption.
