My biology teacher said 3 meals a day is a myth and he just eats once a day. What do you think? How many do you eat?

There are manyyyy meal styles and 3 meals a day is one of them ( NOT a myth ) as is 1 meal.
Probably more common is the trend towards "grazing" and not having a 5 course sit down that stretches the stomach. Some people function better eating 8 or 10 snacks and no stomach bulging meals .
This also totally depends on your activity level.
If you are very active , you eat more , and if you are a cubicle worker , you (should) eat less.
Eat for your lifestyle , NOT someone elses.

Actually fitness and diet people say it is better to eat 6 times a day in smaller meals. Your teacher is nuts if he only eats once a day. That is not good for anyone.

Where did your biology teacher go to college? One meal a day will totally mess up your blood sugar. Especially if you are diabetic or hypoglycemic. He must have a really good pancreas to regulate insulin and blood sugar. I wouldn't reccommend one meal a day to the general population. We should be eating small meals every three hours and fast when we sleep at night. I learned that from my biology professors.

I think its what works best for you!
If you are still at school you should have 3 meals a day to ensure that you are getting the right amount of calories as you are still growing and your biology teacher should be shot for implying to teenagers that one meal a day is sufficient to provide energy to brains that need to study and bodies that need to grow!

You can eat only one meal a day. I wouldn't suggest it. Its better to eat 6 small meals a day balanced with fruit, veggies, fat and proteins.
I don't know why a teacher would suggest students to eat one meal a day.
