Say you meet in a supermarket or the airport ticket counter (accidentally of course) and all you have between you is probably 2 minutes maximum.

It's now been 3 years maybe I never heard of her, her last words to me,

"What the f* - how dare you say that to me- I've never been humiliated more - this is it - get out of my Life and never try to send me even mails - I just hate the sound of your name - I just don't care what you think or feel - for me, you're long lost forgotten moron - I just hate the thought of you = just get lost and hope I never see or hear from you EVER again".

Is it polite to smile and talk OR rather ignore the person if all means of communication have been snapped

This brings to the next part of the question. Why can't females forgive and forget easily? It's been 3 years of Life? Would she be the same person even when we grow pretty old? Do they carry these feelings forever?

My god what did u do? lol

To be honest, women DO have long memories but her last words dont contain BASSTARD! or HOW COULD U DO THIS TO ME?? So it sounds to me like u didnt break her heart but merely irritated her... on a huge scale!

Whatever it was that happend between u, those 2 mins u will have to create a WOW factor. (the only way us women forget the past..momentarily)

My advice would be....
Appear uninterested..so try being on ur mobile phone or something & carry on chatting and let her see u first.
ONLY act when u see her reaction to seeing u. (read her body language)
DO NOT rush to her or be approaching her before she notices u.
Be calm & appear casual
WEAR a white t-shirt over blue Levis if u can (we're such suckers for the classic casual look)
SMELL delicious too so dont forget the aftershave!

If she simply acknowledges u (a stiff smile with a nod & carries on her way) then forget it.
If she looks at u with a big smile & holds this for a couple of seconds, your'e safe for a chat.

I hope this helps mate...and for what its worth, I think we all are guilty of preparing an 'accidental' encounter with an old flame!
Heaps of luck 2 u tho!

See how her body language is and how she reacts to seeing you. If she seems stand offish i would just let it be. Otherwise a smile and a polite hello might be ok. three years is a long time, she prob has gotten over it by now. I had an ex who cheated on me. I was real pissed and pretty much said the same thing she did to you. 2 years later i saw him. He said hello and i was fine with that. I had forgiven him long ago and while i prob wont ever totally forget that it happened, i don't let it get to me anymore because all it will do is eat at ya.

Dude, women are wired differently. If you can't accept this and move on, you are doomed. Only the greatest women can overcome this aversion to forgiving.
Good luck on how this meeting goes down, I would just smile and ignore her unless she made a point of coming over to talk.
She is probably replaying your last conversation in her head, and could even tell you what you were wearing when you had the conversation. It is an uncanny ability, blessing or curse, you decide.

I would smile and as such acknowledge, but beyond that not initiate conversation. The smile opens the way for her to say something if she wishes.

depends on how she reacts when she see's you i suppose, probably didnt forgive u easily if u meant alot to her so if u hurt her then she took it badly cos she liked you??!!

This is exactly why we should be allowed to carry guns in this country, or at the very least stun guns.
