I'm 5'8" in 6th grade (12 years old) and I'm taller than everyone in 6th grade and almost taller than some guys in 7th and 8th. I'm smart- I'm in all honors and GATE, gifted and talented education. Plus, I'm going to science county fair.. I'm nice, I have a lot of friends, guys and girls. My question is this: Do guys not like tall girls?

Don't complain. YOur only 12 for cripe's sake!!! Girls your age usually mature before guys do. Just wait until high school. Tall guys everywhere for you. (and how does a 12 year old have a myspace >_O) And guys do like tall girls. Remember that obsession with models back in the 90's (oh wait, your twelve. Nevermind)? Just be patient. They'll show up.

It depends on who you are. If you are one of those preps that go out with a different boy each week, then you would of gotten a boyfriend by now (MABYE, i don't know). But if you are someone else that just usually keeps to themself, then it will take a while, but in the end, when you acually do get a boyfriend, the relationship will last a LONG time. I did that and my relationship lasted for like a year.

i must be the tallest girl in school, and ive never done the things you mentioned (had a bf, been on a date, or first kiss)
there are a lot of really tall cute guys in my school, but it seems like everyone just notices me as a TALL freak
most guys want dates that are shorter than them

They are probably intimidated by you!!! don't worry, they will catch up one day and you'll be fine. I didn't have my first kiss til 7th grade. And think of it this way...i'm almost 25 and I'm only 5'0''...so being a middle schooler mistaken for a high schooler isnt as bad as being an adult mistaken for a high schooler :) relax girl... guys will soon hit their spurt and you'll have plenty to choose from!!!

It has nothing to do with your height. Just because you're tall doesn't mean anything maybe those boys in school are just scared or something either that or they don't know how to approach you. You have nothing to worry about because you're still pretty young just continue focusing on your school work and everything else will fall into place.

Many guys like tall girls. Give it time, guys are all over the place at that age with puberty and peer influence.

I'm 6-4" and I think women are fine anywhere between 5' and 5-10".

it takes a while for guys to notice that tall girls are really BETTER. i'm 5'9", and 18. i've laways been one of the taller girls, and it took me a few years to embrace it and be myself.

personally i like taller girls, but that could be that i'm tall myself (6'7") but lots of guys don't like to date girls taller then them. it just depends on the guy.
