If I get intimate with my boyfriend one day, he tells me he is going to call me two days later. He isn't cheating on me or anything, and he says he loves me all the time, he is pretty faithful with me, but why he doesn't call me the next day to tell me how he feels etc after having sex etc and he waits a couple of days more?

You need to ask him why he does that! That's just not normal, or right! He may have a good explanation but you won't know if you don't ask!

Generally guys aren't going to tell you how they feel all the time but I would ask why he doesn't call you for a few days after wards, that would make me suspicious.

Sometimes it's to recharge our batteries; Sometimes it's to keep things from overheating - a cooling off period. It helps us recenter our minds and emotions.
