You definietly do need protein when you're exercising and trying to lose weight -- but the diet you're on isn't a good idea for the long term. You need fiber and vitamins from fruits and vegetables, and various nutrients from different sources. Also, while you're doing this protein and water plan, you will be just waiting for the day you can go back to reagular food -- but you won't be developing good eating habits and you'll put the weight back on. If you have a baby, you probably aren't getting enough sleep -- and eating the wrong way is just adding to the stress on your body.

If you want to be truly healthy to your body come off all of that...
drink more water, eat fruits and healthy mixtures of meat, brown bread...! eat normal food and liquid retention will get rid of itself in normal time...
these are some of the effects that it can cause

* Lowered potassium levels (which can cause nausea, numbness, confusion, drowsiness, and weakness)
* Increased blood sugar and cholesterol levels
* Lowered calcium
* Sensitivity to sun
* Rash

but it is healthier for you to not be on them, as if youve been pregnant the way your body will react to them is unknown.

your best being natural and eating as much good food as you can
get some Kiwis and brochali in you!!

You need to check your trainer's qualifications, and he/she needs to get some training in nutrition.

Everything you said smells like bu££$hit.
