Never had extermination before, I guess they are thinking sping is comming, feas, ticks, termites.. I won't be here all day, before I ask my apt.office,(who does not know of my cat for 7 yrs) what do I do with her? Stick her on the terrace/balcony, or should I take her in a carrier just away for a few hours?

yes, the cat should come out. you should also cover anything that you or your cat sleep or play in to prevent cross contanimation due to the pesticides they might use. the same things that will make you sick will make her sick as well, if not worse. use old news paper to cover your furnature and bedding, and would prolly be a good idea to completely empty her litter box and upon return, wash out and fill with new, just incase any of the pesitcides get into there. also, for yourself, would be a good idea to cover or put away any clothing, or wash once they're done. can't be too carefull!
good luck!

Definately, take her in carrier ! If you leave her on terrace or balcony she can rin away or get hit by car !!! especially if she is an inside cat she doesn't know about cars and other dangers ! If you leave her she WILL die! extermination's purpose is to kill stuff. If apt.manager catches you ,just say you found stray in building and didn't want it to smell fumes so your taking it with you . Just be more careful bringing her back in !! Maybe without the carrier. Good Luck !!!

Of course you should remove your cat. Do you know of anyone that would take her for a day? After they exterminate you will want to clean up. Best to not have cat around when you do that too. What is the policy on pets there? You should tell them and just pay the extra for your cat being there.

Take her out of the house, yes. Not only to keep her secret but to keep her healthy. Cats are extremely sensitive to pesticides. You might notice that cats must use only cat specific products. Make sure you air the place out for about an hour before bringing your cat back in to the environment.

PUT THE CARRIER IN THE VEHICLE THEN WRAP YOUR CAT IN A BLANKET AND TAKE HER TO THE CARRIER AND WAIT TILL THE PLACE IS FREE OF FUMES FROM THE EXTERMINATION. ACTUALLY IF YOU HAVE A VEHICLE YOU CAN PUT A LITTER BOX IN THE VEHICLE AND LET THE CAT LOOSE IN THE VEHICLE. I'D COVER THE SEATS OF THE VEHICLE THOUGH;. OPEN THE WINDOWS FOR A NUMBER OF HOURS IN THE APARTMENT TO HELP .

Take her out of the apartment for 24 hours. If your vet offers boarding, board her for the day. If not see if you have a friend that will take care of kitty.

Yes take her with you, so you will give the time to pass the fume or whatever they put on your apartment that is poison. Don't let your cat walk on the floor with poison on it, clean first before you let it walk on the floor.
