Does having a TFT active matrix imply that it is touchscreen?

For example, with the macbook, it never says that it has a touchscreen, but it has a tft active monitor. Does this mean it is touchsensitive?

no, it does not...

active matrix is just the technical method the screen uses to display it's picture, it has nothing to do with touch sensitivity.
