The two theories are diabolically opposed.

So in order for a Christian to support evolution they must throw out a significant part of what they believe to be the creation of man.

You can believe in Christ without supporting the theory of creation around the garden of eden.

Some places of worship have made great strides in this regard by having non denominational services.

So we should continue to ask questions to our religious leaders and not let them question are faith if we do so.

I believe in Christ and his teachings.

I also studied the science of the univerese.

I as an adult and after many years of what seemed to be a hopeless choice have found a way to live with an altered version of how man came to be.

Most people simply cannot handle the truth or are simply to lazy to question what they read.

I recall asking a teacher in Sunday school who Caine and Abel came about.
When I suggested that Eve slept with her sons I was kicked out of class.
But according to the very information that I was taught it was not a possible answer it was the only answer. After all Adam and Eve where the first to arrive who else would have been there?
In this case Evolution makes sense.

We need to wake up.

Birds came from dinosaurs we accept that.
So why is it so hard to examine the evolution of man?

Time to ask more questions do more research and words from the wise. Do not believe everything you read.

The Bible included, It has been altered and has borrowed from many religions.

If Christians read more world religion they would know this.

And back to God for a minute here.
God created all.
So why would he make only Christians right and all others wrong?

That would be a mistake would it not.

Last time I checked God was perfect.

Here we stand in a day and age where more and more hard evidence is found that proves the hystorical accuaracy of the Bible. For example, only one place on this earth where balls of sulfur exist. Burried under a layer of weathered ash 5 feet deep and just happen to be where documents claim two great cities once stood. Sodom and Gomora. How about the video documentation of chariot wheels on the bottom of the Red Sea. In the only place that has a sandy bottom where coral can't grow yet there is coral growing there on wheels and axels. Or maybe the Arch of Titus, which shows the Temple in Israel being destroyed and the treasures being plundered. Hint, just look at the under side, the Roman soldiers are carrying off a manora (a candle specially made for the temple of God by the Jews). Or maybe the fact that recent discovery of the authentic and verifiable recordings of the family lines within the Levites which are the people assigned to care for Gods dwelling place. Let's continue onward. How about the fact that the studies of geneology has shown that the Jew(Hebrews) have the genes to make any skin pigment from the darkest of dark to the lightest of light. Then if I take all of that and put it ontop the fact that islam, hinduism, and budists all believe the world experienced a great flood that covered the earth. Let's just say that the evidence keeps stacking up. It's about time people open their eyes to truth and put away ways of idolatry.

Yeah, another theory to add to the public.

OK, calenders were not invented until much much much later then creation. Yes it says the Christian God created everything in 6 days, but whose to say how long those days were? If Christians want to hold that God only made life on this plant, don't u think he would have had to play around a little before finding the right combo. Heck for all we know, we're just a step to what he truly wants to make.

So its safer to just say, I believe in God (Gods/Goddess/higher Beings) and they are guiding the changing of the world. Rather then the egocentric view of nope, I'm special, nothing else existed, excuse em while I put my head back in the sand now.

I'm a Christian and I believe in evolution. No problem. In the Bible it says God made the world in six days. How long is a day to God, is a day a million yrs., two million? To make Adam and Eve, what steps did he take? He made Adam out of the earth? Then no problem. EVOLUTION! These hard shell, closed minded, eyes shut so called Christians should wake up and quit following the mean spirited Republican agenda. These hard shell Christians are one of the reasons that George W. got reelected. So how smart can they be?

It is a superficial way of convincing somebody, be it a Christian or Jew.If Christains and the Jews start believing in evolution then all the christainity and judaism will be turned turtles. In fact when you say evolution it is not clear whether you are mentioning of Darwin's evolution or contolled and guided evolution for the development of most precious of the species.

Supposing, of path, which you're no longer purely making this up, that there may well be a courting of ultimate acquaintances, the place the subject remember of "faith v reason" had in no way arise, i will purely furnish this suggestion: in the sport of love, this is significant that the gamers are taking part in via a similar set of regulations. If the theory comes from somebody who clearly Believes that some form of GOD wrote the regulations, and that the penalty for breaking the regulations is an eternity of torment in a lake of hearth, you're extra useful off no longer taking part in.

I use to be Christian and I was anti Evolution all the way....it is unthinkable for a christian.....It is challenging the whole bible because god said he created the earth, and that he created Humans in his image why would a christian want to believe that their god looks like a monkey. by the way I still don't know if I believe in it and I am Dakini Vidya now. Evolution does have its points but its like Swiss cheese it has to many holes in it just like some parts of Christianity.

Evolution is a theory based on a five week stay on the Galapagos islands. Darwin based his theory on animal samples he brought home from 5 islands. He misinterpreted adaptation and survival of the fittest, There were no primates on the islands. how could he develop a theory about humans from birds, seals and turtles.
There is no missing link. Get over it.

i believe in evolution, and i believe in god

anyways god made the evolution

the story in the bible of adam and eve, is for the people who do not know the sciences behind the process of creation, people then (in the time when bible was written) will not understand the terms that will be used, if the bible will tell them that adam and eve is really a dinosaur or one celled microorganism they may think that the writer of the bible is crazy.

lets face it evolution is real and creation is real, common sense will be the key in deciphering the bible
