Open Office,org-it's a program just like Microsoft word but it is free and works very well.

if it came with microsoft word then it will also come with a key, other keys wont work. Use the program below to show your hidden key if the product is still installed. It will only tell you your original valid key it wil lnot generate a new one. Scroll down to "microsoft Windows/Office Keys For Lost Disks"

Word needs online activation. and if you use someones CD key, it will show that the key is already being used.
You just maybe will have to buy one. Hmmmmmm, imagine that. Of course there are other programs out there that are free for word processing those are an option.
