definitely, you will have questions about it and is good to be able to talk to those who have been there.

I would recomend it, just because that way it doesn't seem like you are hiding anything. An open relationship with parents is always a good thing. You get a lot more freedom that way. And it's fun when you can bring your special someone around your family because then you are able to be around the people you care about most and be happy and comfortable. :-)

i believe that good communication is very important with your parents. I feel it is great to be able to discuss everything with your parents even relationships. Unfortunately i had the kind of parents that i could not talk to about anything. But i wish it would have been different. Then i probably would have understood things alot better and i would still be married.

Depends on the person's relationship with their parents.
If the parents and the teen are friends, then yea. If not, then consider how the parents would react first.
But I do strongly suggest telling the parents about the relationship, if not, then if the parents find out they will think that you have been hiding something from them and will get suspicious.

You should definitly tell your parents cause they have some good insight. I used to hate my mom for saying bad things about my boyfriends but she was always right and I have finally found someone that my mother agrees with and he is wonderful. Hope this helps!

Depends on the relationship between the kid and the adult. If the teenager feels free to tell the parent, they will but if they feel uncomfortable they'll keep it to themselves.

You really should. Parents, no matter how sad they are inwardly about your "growing up", will want to share in the excitement with you. Tell them because they will trust you more for your honesty.

If you're mature enough to have a boyfriend/girlfriend, you're mature enough to let your parents know you have one. If you can't seem to bring yourself to tell them, you shouldn't be in a relationship.
