its ok for men to sleep around so why not women?

I dont think it matters in the slightest. But you still have alot of narrowminded males around who think women should be almost like virgins when they meet them. Time for them to grow up dont you think. Personally i wouldnt want a guy who didnt know his way around so why should a guy expect that a girl should without her getting the experience in the first place.

It's not okay for either. This is how STD's are spread and relationships are torn apart. Children don't have a solid understanding of a marriage relationship because Daddy or Mommy slept with the secretary or boss or some other nonsense.
Sleeping around shows a person has low moral standards, low self esteem, and a low IQ. Educated people know that exercising a little self-control and having open communication with your spouse will lead to a healthy relationship (in general).

Yes! it matter way more then what you think. Sleeping aound is dangerious. Think about this so you protect your self from having a baby but there is no way to protect your self from HSV 1 and 2 you can get that even with a condom there are more stds out there then you realize and every partner you are with is potential death sentance. It is not ok on any level do you wanna be cool or do you wanna live you have to weight out the consaquenses.. Life is to fragile to throw it away on the heat of the moment.

Seems to me that there are just as many women sleeping around as there are men. It does take two to sleep around.
Madonna/Whore complex, perhaps?
I do not want to be with a woman who has slept with alot of men simply because of the health risks.
I do want a woman who knows herself and is secure in her sexuality. I want a woman that is discerning about the men with whom she will have sex. If she sleeps with anyone and everyone then I am nothing special.
There is something to be said for chasity.

I would not want a mate with a long list of names in her past. It's makes for good TV drama/comedy, but I think in real life, it's not good for a LTR.
But hey, maybe some guys don't care how many men have been there before them, I'm just not one of those.
It may be a bit of a double standard, but I don't think most women want a guy who's been around the block too many times either.

There some things that guy can get away with if a guy sleeps around he's consider a playa if a girl sleeps around she is consider a hoe. But it all depends if you're married if you're and have sex it really dosen't matter but if you're not trouble is coming you're way. Make sure you use birthcontrols and condoms . My best suggestion is to wait in your relationship and if things get serious then get the ball rolling.

Boy this is a loaded Question.... Okay the truth is No it really shouldn't matter.... however life has led the majority of people to think a woman who sleeps with alot of guys is a < excuse me > a ****.. where a guy is a Stud. in truth.. honestly though there is no diffrence... If someone wants to sleep with alot of people the real answer should be go for it.... There is nothing wrong with it..... Just if you are going to talk about it.. be prepared to catch flack from certian closed minded people... however I'm all ears... LOL!

As long as she is carefull i am of the opinion that a woman can sleep with as many men as she sees fit, there are some who will see things a little differently but each to their own.

It doesn't matter to most guys. I prefer a woman with experience myself. To other women I guess it does. I am not sure why though. Something in the American society has deemed it wrong for a woman to enjoy their sexuality. In Thailand it is perfectly acceptable for women to sleep with many men before they marry.

I don't think it matters how many men that a woman has slept with. After all, it's her body and she can do what she likes with it. The only problem is (even if you have only slept with 1 person), WHO it is that you sleep with. Girls..steer away from womanisers and guys who just keep count of how many they sleep with. If you feel a connection with someone, even for a little while and you want to go for it, keep safe and do it!
