It depends on the type of judgment.

If it is for a government type debt - taxes, etc., it will remain until it is paid

If it is for a money debt judgment - 7 years.

If you check your credit report, and find the judgment you want more information on:

Click on the account to bring up the overview--

there will be exact information on the judgment such as:

(1) who placed the judgment against you, (2) when it happened, (3) and most importantly exactly what date is scheduled to fall off.

You will have to use the actual credit bureaus' web-site for this information I think or for least correct and dependable information.

transunion.com

experian.com

equifax.com

I wouldn't trust any other site to give me the correct information, because I noticed some of the sites that offer credit reports don't all have the same information in them.

Hope this helps!!!
