You know, your religion is no ones business but your own. If you don't want to ever tell anyone then don't. Most of my family doesn't know and probably never will. They don't need to know and, since they're Catholic, it would cause unneeded headaches on all sides.

Remember the problem you have when dealing with Christians. They think Wicca is evil so if you admit that you're Wiccan to them, they'll freak, its almost guaranteed.

There are alot of books that would be very useful for you to read. Anything by Scott Cunningham, Viviane Crowley, and Margot Adler. You can read Ray Buckland too but he's a bit of an extremist. DO NOT read anything by Ravenwolf.

As for where to find them, try your local bookstore. Most bookstores have an occult, or alternative religion section.

Read and learn a heck of alot on the internet. Go to witchvox.com and see if you can chat with other Wiccans online. You'll learn alot.

Remember, in Wicca, you are NEVER forced to do things one way. You can pick and choose what you like and how you like to do it. Thats the beauty of Wicca.

Wicca is a Neopagan religion and a religious movement found in various countries throughout the world. It was first popularised in 1954 by a British civil servant named Gerald Gardner[1] after the British Witchcraft Act was repealed. He claimed that the religion, of which he was an initiate, was a modern survival of an old witchcraft religion, which had existed in secret for hundreds of years, originating in the pre-Christian Paganism of Europe. Wicca is thus sometimes referred to as the Old Religion. The veracity of Gardner's claims cannot be independently proven, and it is thought that written Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s.[2] Various related Wiccan traditions have since evolved or been adapted from the form established by Gardner, which came to be called Gardnerian Wicca. These other traditions of Wicca each have distinctive beliefs, rituals, and practices. Many traditions of Wicca remain secretive and require that members be initiated. There is also a movement of Eclectic or Solitary Wiccans who do not believe that any doctrine or traditional initiation is necessary in order to practice Wicca. The 2001 American Religious Identification Survey estimated that at least 134,000 adults identified themselves as Wiccans in the US.

Welcome to the world of Wiccan, though I should warn you cannot just 'become' Wiccan. It's like saying you would suddenly like to 'become' from the other side of the world to where you were born. A transformations is impossible, whereas a reshaping or conversion is more appropriate ^_^

I've studied the magical arts and specialise in White Magic, Tarot, Crystals, Angel Magick, Wiccan, Candles, Astrology, Faery Magic, Spellcasting, Herbs, Chakra healing, and psychic matters. I'd be happy to help in any way I can, though I will advise that dabbling in magical matters can be dangerous and would recommend you have someone (like me, or a fellow follower of the mystical arts around us) who is in the know to guide you along your quest.
