women are always talking about men are really shallow and only go for women who look like supermodels(which is not at all true, definitely not for me), but what about this. lets say i'm aan average looking guy in his 20s. i have a good personality, i know how to laugh and i'm nice. now lets say i have a twin brother. he looks the same and has a similar personality, but he's a singer or something like that. even though we look the same and have the same personality, most girls would definitely prefer him over me and a lot of girls who aren't attracted to me will probably be attracted to him. now lets say he wasn't my twin brother. lets say he was my 17 year old brother. i think the same would be true, even for women around my age and older! so girls think it's shallow for guys to be attracted to good looks. but is it not shallow for girls to be attracted to talent and popularity?

by the way, if a guy found a girl unnattractive, he'd probably still find her unattractive if she was a celebrity. and if he found a girl attractive, he'd find her attractive even if she was a nobody, so the same doesn't apply to guys.

Actually i always go for the guy who makes me feel the best about myself. His personality has to be attractive. When he holds me, I have to be safe in his arms.
Not all guys are shallow, Not all girls are shallow. Some maybe are, but there is no use to stereotype that.

i would definatly be into u more. The whole celebrity thing just seems a bit over rated. you seem like a really nice guy ( which is sort of hard to find)
I personaly think it is crazy that older girls r interested in yur bro.
yur right about it being shallow 4 girls to be attracted to talent and popularity, but not all girls r like that. Just like u changed my opinion about guys

I beg to differ in that...ya maybe at first glance the girl is taken for reasons that may seem shallow..but in the big picture...its always confidence that shows not popularity. I went out with a drummer and he really makes it known he's a drummer for the obvious benefits. Great looking in good shape and at first glance seems confident...not the case...I ended up liking the guitar player more who was overweight and not at all a attention seeker kind of guy. The kind of guys who seek popularity and reep rewards from it...have very short lived veiws on them and are not considered a "great catch".

Ok for me (a girl) i woudl say thats not true for ALL girls. Sure guys and girls both look at they way the other sex looks, but thats not all. I love the guy im with because he is nice, good attitude, treats me good, adn he is nice to everyone. I mean sure hes a great lookign guy, at least to me, where as maybe other girls wouldn't think so. It really depends on the girls taste. My guy can sing also, but i didn't know that till a couple months (2-3) ago, and ive been dating him for almost a year. So girls may have opinions based off of looks, but so do guys its just part of life. Plus you can't also be attracted to someone for there attitude i mean think abotu it when you see a girl whos hot and one who is sooo not... you don't know either which one woudl you rather talk to? it goes both ways.

your concept is very stereotypical of girls... i for one am not like that AT ALL. i go entirely for personality. sense of humor most of all. and actually, i don't think that i Would like to have a celebrity boyfriend. too much pressure on me. all i look for is if i have fun with the guy and if we both like each other that should be enough. i Don't go for the bad guys because i don't even believe in that whole "out of your league" thing.. because you never know what color, size, shape, or whatever, that your perfect someone is going to be in!!! so i don't ever judge like that.. i give Everyone a shot. because i've learned that when you judge people like that you can miss out on a Really amazing person. and if you always choose guys that Every other girl wants, you have to compete more anyway.. and why would you want that?! i know i wouldn't. i just want to be Happy. that's all that truly matters.

To be honest, girls really aren't attracted to someone who is popular or talented. They want some one who they can feel comfortable around and is honest. they want some one who will make them feel special and will show it. Simple things like sending flowers or writting a sweet e-mail can make a huge difference.
